At Cambium Studios, our longest-standing collaboration is with the La Trobe University Violet Vines Marshman Centre for Rural Health Research on the CP@clinic program—a globally recognised community paramedicine initiative. Adapted from the original Canadian model implemented by McMaster University, the program has been tailored specifically for the Australian landscape to improve healthcare access for vulnerable and rural populations.
Since 2020, we have acted as their dedicated visual partners, translating complex clinical data and implementation milestones into accessible, high-impact stories. We developed a strong, cohesive visual language for the program, utilising a calming, health-focussed colour palette and an extensive suite of custom icons to bring the CP@clinic mission to life. This systematic approach ensures that technical information—from blood pressure assessments to chronic disease management—feels approachable and human-centered.
Our work spans the full spectrum of the program’s needs, including interim reports, conference presentations, and detailed clinic profiles. A significant highlight was the design of a research poster for ACPIC20, which was awarded the "Best Research Poster Award," proving that even the most rigorous data can be presented with beauty and clarity. Whether showcasing a 39% increase in clinic visits or illustrating the reduction of stress on emergency services, our goal is to ensure this vital work is seen and understood by the community and stakeholders alike.
