After years at Sydney institutions like Bourke Street Bakery and Brickfields, Jamie Goodin and Alex Alewood opened Goodwood Bakeshop in Marrickville. Since 2021, it’s become a neighborhood staple with features in Broadsheet and the Sydney Morning Herald. We worked with Jamie and Alex to create a brand identity that matches their straightforward approach: local ingredients, seasonal menus, and traditional methods.

The logo design is intentionally simple, reflecting an authentic, organic feel inspired by the shapes of their loaves and raw grains. We focused on a grounded visual language, incorporating the double OOs from the Goodwood name to create a mark that is easy to recognise and true to the bakery’s character. It’s an identity built to be as honest and considered as the beautiful bread & pastries they bake.
