A forest scene with green foliage and a leafless tree, overlaid with a white logo of a tree with sound wave patterns and concentric circles, and the text "Sybiotic Sound System".

Born from the Australian psychedelic festival scene, Symbiotic Sound System is a Melbourne project dedicated to high-fidelity outdoor electronic music. Each speaker is hand-built from Baltic birch plywood, designed specifically for the rugged demands of the bush while maintaining a focus on crystal-clear sound. Cambium Studios led the brand identity and social media management, ensuring the visual presence felt as intentional and high-quality as the system itself.

The logo is a blend of hand-drawn illustration and digital refinement, designed to visually represent the concept of symbiosis, the mutually beneficial relationship between different elements. We mirrored organic root systems and forest canopies to frame a central speaker element, symbolising the moment where nature and sound meet. In a collaboration with Sylvantra, the final identity was laser-etched directly into the cabinets. It’s a logo that reflects how the system works: individual elements coming together to create a full-spectrum experience that feels entirely at home in the outdoors.
